Keum Boo is an ancient Korean technique of bonding fine gold to fine silver with heat and pressure.
Mokume Gane is a time consuming Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. Mokume Gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" or "wood eye metal". This piece of Mokume Gane was made by Dan Baker during the beginning of the pandemic lock down late Spring, early Summer 2020.
